Do you think the Wizards will make a trade on draft day?
Many people think the wizards must make a trade during the draft. I for one agree. I think the Wizards should really move up to get Enes Kanter. Everything i've seen of him has really impressed me. He reminds me of a mixture of Dirk and Andrew Bogut. I say we find a way to ship out Blatche anyway we can. Maybe we could get a mid first round pick for him? What do you guys think?

I think they should
but I don’t think they will.
Kanter is...
nowhere near the defensive player Bogut is and doesn’t have half the offensive game Dirk has. The best comp. I’ve seen is Horford, I can also sadly see the Pachulia comparison as well.

It would be great if they did
But I don’t think we have anything to trade.
Would love to see Kanter fall to 6 but i don’t think it’s gonna happen.
I think we'll get involved in some kind of movement
to buy a pick at the very least. I’m not sure we’ll get a blockbuster trade such as McGee for Williams, but I think it’s likely we’ll buy a pick from Chicago.
They should.
But I think that they just want to see where the chips fall in the draft first.
TNT should've treated Lebron's return to Cleveland game like 2k11 and cut the game off after the Cavs were down by 30. lol
definitely
1. 6 could be a deadzone.
2. Big Ern has shown the willingness to move around the board to get his guy.
I could envision him moving back from 6, up from 18, and buying a pick.
Hopefully! I think there will be movement of some sort, probably not a blockbuster move, but if there is none, I don’t think we’d be calling for Ernie’s head (Unless he takes Brady Morningstar at #6)
I still hold out hope we’re the team to take the chance at Biyombo, but we’d need to move down from 6 or up from 18 for that to make sense.
best scenario
Trade down and pick up klay Thompson Chris singleton and markeiff morris or atleast 2 of the 3
I imagine we'll make a move to get a lower pick
Probably by taking a bad contract or just outright buying it. I think we’ll stay at 6, though, unless Knight falls, in which case we’d be wise to draft and trade him.

I think we'll stay at 6, maybe move up from 18
I think we’ll look into moving up from 6, but with Minny making outrageous demands and Utah wanting Brandon Knight, I don’t see us making it to the top 3. I think Toronto messes up our ability to move up because they’d select Knight at 5. So I think the order stays pretty much set in the top 5 with the only likely change is MInny trading Derrick Williams.
But I also see Kanter slipping to 6. Irving, Williams and Knight are top 3. I think Cavs and Raps go Valanciunas and Vesely. I think they’ll go in that order, but I can see them flip flopping as well. So the 3 Euros will go 4-6. I think Valanciuanas and Vesely make more sense for Cleveland and Toronto because they have “higher ceiling”, played competitive basketball, and better fit positions of need (if you’re targeting Vesely at SF).
On the other hand, we get the toughest guy with the higher floor. He fits our positional needs and place in the process of our rebuild better. We need someone to improve our culture and push our current players. Fortunately for us, upside wins again in the NBA draft and we have a 20 and 10+ guy fall to us.
Now as for moving up from 18, I’m really looking at the recent options we picked up and the QOs made as a reason why we might move up, possibly into the late lottery. It simply comes down to roster spots. We have 11 spots reserved for next year and 3 draft picks. I can see those picks being consolidated into 2. That would leave us with two open rosters spots to consider vet PGs and bigs, with one spot likely left open.
I think in the late lottery we can pick up a nice prospect that’s really not far behind top 5 prospects in this draft as far as talent goes. If we move up to the 11-15 range, we could be looking at a pool of Marcus Morris, Klay Thompson, Singleton, Biyombo, Burks, and maybe even Leonard. I’m sure that 18, 34, and cash will be able to move us back up into the lottery.
Point is I think we'll move up from one of our picks
Because I can also see us staying at 6 and 18, but maybe moving up from 34 into the late 1st. Maybe target Chicago for a player like Honeycutt.
I'd love to see the Wizards end up with
Kanter and Singleton….. Those two would immediately turn around the Wizards culture…. Both are high energy. Both are extremely competitive and intense… Kanter is a rebounding beast… and Singleton is a defensive beast… They fill some of the Wizards most glaring needs (low post scoring, rebounding, perimeter defense)
The only hole left to fill is shooting – and Next year’s draft is chock full of All-Star talent level shooters and shot creators…. (Harrison Barnes, Quincy Miller, Michael Gilchrist, Austin Rivers, and a ton more…)…
He's "delightfully cranky"
I used to have super powers until my psychiatrist took them away.
I like our chances of trading up.
The Twolves, Jazz, and now Cleveland are talking about trading down in this draft. Now the value of all three picks has depreciated.
