Can you win a championship with an offensive PG?

D. Rose and Russel Westbrook play at the same position and have the same aggressiveness, speed, explosiveness etc. They are both 22 ; arrived in the nba at the same time … and about to exit the playoffs at the exact same stage with dreadful lines :

- Derrick Rose : 40% fg, 24% 3-pfg and 3.7 TOs

- Russell Westbrook : 39% fg, 31% 3-pfg and 4.7 TOs

Which makes me wonder: Can you win a championship with a scoring point guard?

When is the last time a franchise won the championship with a point guard as the number one scoring option?

2007 Spurs? Tony parker was the second option behind Duncan

2004 Pistons and C. Billups ? wasn't Rip Hamilton the number one scoring option ?

Allen Iverson didn’t make it ....

Yes, the 80s and Magic or Isiah Thomas; but these guys had more than 10 assists a game in average ... They were true passing masters ... isn't a high scoring PG a bust for your ring ambitions?
