Flipping Flip?

I know it's not the perfect timing to make a coaching change right now, what with the lock out looming and Flip still having 2 years and $9 million left on his contract, but if this franchise is serious about heading into a new direction, a winning direction, Brian Shaw is the right man to lead the way.

Shaw has five championship rings, three as a player and two as a coach.  He's learned under Phil Jackson, he's played with Kobe, he was Shaq's most respected teammate, he's got the resume to become a top coach in the NBA.

He's available today for hire, by the time next year comes along and Flip becomes a "lame duck", Shaw is probably gone.  Opportunity is knocking and Brian Shaw is at the door!
