Who? Because I sure don't know... During the middle of the season I would've said without hesitation Nick Young! but then he got injured and started to regress. I still like NY but he hasn't been very good recently (yeah, yeah he's been injured) and the fact that he telegraphs every single pass scares me. I'm thinking of him more as a role player now but maybe I'm wrong.
Pros:
-Length (great height but doesn't always use it)
-Stroke (improved dramatically this year)
-Good Bounce (more than I thought he had)
Cons:
-Cannot pass at all
-Sub Par rebounder
-Mediocre handle (at best)
Insert: Jordan Crawford
When I heard we got him, at first thought it was Jammal Crawford. When I found out it was 27th pick, I wondered what the big fuss was. Soon, I remembered he's the young man that dunked on LeBron! My hope was for him to be a role/energy player at best. Then I realized... this kid can score.
Pros:
-BOUNCE (whole lotta bounce, he can hang or jam at will)
-Crafty Scoring
-Pretty good shot and pretty good passing ability
Cons:
-a tiny bit undersized for a 2 guard
-although he gets steals, he needs to put more effort on D to make up for his size
-somewhat of a combo guard (good for bench player but not necessarily good or bad for a starter, time will tell)
Now maybe I'm being a prisoner of the moment but I like what I've seen for Jordan A LOT and I think his fire will make him a gooood player in this league. He's my pick.
Thoughts?
