I have been bouncing this around my friends and they have had the same question.  Why is it that the NFL lockout got so much press and the looming NBA lockout seems to be in the background.  For example we knew how the far apart the NFL owners and players were before the play-offs even started.  Exact dollar amounts even.  With the NBA all we get are vague issues ( i.e. Contract lengths, Teams losing money, One and done rule.....)  but nothing concrete as to what the Union and the Owners truly can't agree on.  I was hoping to use this post as an aggregator of sorts and see what other information is floating around out there.
