Wizards get blown out by Magic in final game before All-Star Break

In lieu of a real postgame recap, and because we've reached the All-Star Break, I propose that we turn this Wizards-Magic postgame thread into a haiku contest.  Inspired by wjb and Bullet Nation, here's my contribution.

The first half is over

A Great Wall and a 14 bad bricks

Better days will come

The one to get the most green wins a gold star.  Or a green star.  Whichever you prefer.

How can I not recommend this?

by disgrunted on Feb 17, 2011 11:31 AM EST up reply actions

I suck @ heiku

But is I will say this: this was a very valluable loss.

1. OveralI saw good energy on defense and pretty good execution on offense. It was just unfortunate everybody but Wall was cold. I would like to see them keerp playing with that effort and sence of urgency going into the final stretch of the season.

2. Wall played more agressive, just like he did in the beginning of the year. He should continue that after the All Star break. The difference is so obvious that i am starting to believe that Saunders has been asking John to pull it out and run set plays instead of letting him play to his instincts.

3. We have no big on the roster that is untouchable going forward.

4. Josh Howard is not immune to the ‘hero-ball’ mentality.

Enough of these Haikus, and cut to what really matters. The players soon gone.We need a roster bust, to bring back our winnings ways. The seasons do change. To continue this path, will lead the team to madness, when rebirth is nearby. And so I believe, some of these players must go, to play for new teams. And we must part ways, as a river will soon divide, then meet the ocean.
