Of all the players, I believe he makes the most sense. Perry Jones is another upside guy who fits the Wizards draft formula to a T but he has the same body type of a young McGee and the Wiz need size in the paint. I'm opposed to Terrance Jones because of reports and whispers about immaturity and Wiz need to build a character of culture. There is also Enes Kanter but I haven't seen him play at all so I can't form an opinion about him as a player.
Not an entirely insightful post because there has already been an entire breakdown courtesy of Rook and I'm also pretty sure most, if not all Wiz fans know what needs to be done in the upcoming draft. But I just can't explain how excited I will be if the Wiz actaully have the oppourtunity to draft this kid.
I encourage all Wiz fans to try to catch an Ohio State game or two and watch Sullinger ball. Dude is a load in the paint and a legit scoring option from there (something the Wiz desperately lack). Sullinger also has a nose for the ball and rebounds well in his area. But onto the real reason I jumped for this post, he is (by all accounts I can see) such a great kid. I can't keep stressing how important it is to build a culture of not only hard-workers, but guys who have great character. Sullinger has the mentality of a Cartier Martin, with a potential all-star type of game. I'll reserve the rest of my judgment and opinions until I catch more games but I can't help but be excited by the possibility.
Here is a link to a story about how Sullinger handled a heckler:
