Rubio played one NBA game, though I have to say that he has much more pro and intl experience

and we had the same amount of hope last November as Wolves fans do right now. Grass always seems greener on the other side to some degree

I think the Author has a very good premise....

He’s just about 2 years behind

I used to have super powers until my psychiatrist took them away.

Rubio is somewhat ineffective IMHO

good for several highlight assists every night, but really not (yet?) capable of that much on an nba floor. 2-3 6pts/4assts last night in 27mins while getting torched by Jennings. I guess that’s ok, but I wont be losing any sleep over Ernie passing on him. However a lineup with Steph Curry at SG and Nick at SF would have had far more success in Flip’s offense than our current team will…

He wasn't great last night

I think he’ll be good but I’d still take Wall. Doesn’t take away from the fact that Rubio’s going to be a good one.

You will see flashes of greatness in him in his Rookie year...

but he won’t really get good until his third year…. By then, he’ll be Steve Nash-like running an Offense but with better defense. I don’t think he’ll ever get Steve’s automatic 3-point shot, but Rubio should be a much better defender… Just as good a passer… and will be on a par with Nash’s savvy, smarts and flair.

I used to have super powers until my psychiatrist took them away.

he cant shoot at all and never could, nor can he attack the rim

that’s why you’ll continue to see stat lines like last night and, imho, Luke Ridnour (whom i think is underrated) will be the better PG option all year.

just my .02

Rubio wil be good, but.....ARE YOU SERIOUS ?!

Point guards rarely dominate so early in their careers. Let’s compare Wall’s numbers to J. Kidd, R. Rondo, or even D. Williams’ first 2 years; Wall is a stud! Please put the gun down and take 2 steps back.D. Williams the rookie would have had the same result vs. D. Williams the allstar (especially after scouting, and game planning). What Wall needs for his development is a true pick and roll partner.According to Blatche, that’s not his forte. He wants to “bang” down low a la Z Bo (now that he uses his old trainer Remy Martin).Wizards management please ( and I mean PUHLEEZ) keep you cool; and weather this storm. Next year, however, all bets are off ! There better be a scoring 4 on deck, a 3 point shooter, and a big man coach (w/ a resume like Ewing or Jabaar ) on staff. In the meantime, Happy New Year. I’ll be at AB’S (aka Big Fluffy’s) Hennesey and Heux’s New Year’s Bash.
