Seraphin and Booker fighting and winning the Starting Spots is what I am hoping for

How do we get away from the lazy post play we had last year? Competion. Open Competition. Not some idea where Flip or EG says that they will play the best players. Truely open it up and let the best man win.

One thing we found out during the lockout. Kevin Seraphin and Trevor Booker are serious about their job. They worked their behinds off to come into camp and win a job, if not a starting job. Too bad Trevor is hurt, but Kevin showed on Friday that JaVale better watch out.

What's the best thing to happen to Rookies? They become Sophomores. They have been around the dance 1 time and they know what they need to do. Especially Sophomores who were First Round draft picks, the 17th and 22 picks respectively. There is an investment there.

You can say the same thing about Jordan Crawford. The Wizards must have seen enough of Jordan to not worry about Nick only getting a 1 year contract. But enough about the guards, this article is about the BIGS.

I hate watching Andray play 18 feet away from the basket. I hate watching JaVale "jump" up to block a 5'10" guards drive to the hoop and then get called for a foul. I hate it when these two guys just disappear during a game.

I don't think you will get that from Kevin and Trevor. Watch the @Lakers/Wizards game when they absolutely took it to the Lakers BIGS. To me that is a nice taste of what you will see from these 2 guys this year.

I think Andray and JaVale have taken their starting jobs for granted. I think they absolutely believe that no matter what happens that they will be the starters. I hope Flip gives them a wakeup call and gives Kevin and Trevor a real shot at taking over the Starting Spots.

That's what I am hoping for early in the season.
