Pressure is coming from all sides. Hunter and Fisher are just getting beat up from all sides. The Super Agents, the Superstars. They are coming hard.
Saturday night they can end it, and end it abruptly with one brilliant stroke of genius.
Fisher: We have finished meeting with the NBA Owners and we have agreed to all system changes. The only thing we have not agreed upon is the split of BRI.
Hunter: I, and the Executive Committee do not want to go below 52.5% of BRI. We also understand that their are players hurting right now. We also understand that their are a portion of players who do not want to give up anything. They are willing to go the drastic route of Decertifying the Union.
Fisher: We, the Executive Committe, have decided to let you decide. So we will put it up for a vote and whichever way the National Baskertball Players Association Decides to go then we will follow their lead.
Hunter: On Friday, November 11, I am going to ask every player to go to a designated central location by your home teams city and cast a ballot for either the 50/50 split of BRI with all the system changes agreed upon or to Decertify the Union.
Fisher: It is now in the hands of the players.
