Sure, the Miami Heat will be a problem if the Wizards want to make a deep playoff run during the Wall Era, but it's not the primary concern (at least not for me). This is because I believe that Kevin Durant would be sweeping the NBA as the best player in the league, starting the very NEXT year.
Yeah, I said it. Kevin Durant and his co. will always be better than Miami's super-trio (unless KD's co. is horrible). This is of course just my gut feeling, without any rational thinking behind it, ignoring statistics, and what everyone else thinks about Miami's talent. So yeah, you can call me ignorant (or stupid, or whatever else you can come up with), or you can agree but I just felt like throwing that out there. Kevin Durant, in my opinion, is going to be one of the greatest players the NBA has ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if he matched Jordan's legacy. Okay, maybe a little, but not a lot. Not as much as I would be if Lebron matched Jordan's legacy. So for the Wizards, everything can go right and John Wall can be amazing but matching up against Durant (who by the way is only 21, and at least for the Heat we can wait until the super-trios are all old like Celtics, and Wall would still be only like 25 to 26) is a HUGE problem.
