Peter John Ramos
The Wiz need to bring ramos back. He is dominating in the Fibas. Granted he hasn't played great competition yet but the man has post moves and hes 7'3. He seems to have got his head on straight now unlike when we drafted him. He is still only 25 years old, and i would rather have him over Hilton Armstrong or a Fabricio Oberto. Hilton is terrible, but Oberto was at least a good passer(even though that was about it). He can still develop into being a solid Nba player if given the chance. He has a lot of experience with the Puerto Rican national team, and in the BSN Superleague.ee

Why not
Our team is rebuilding and we should test him out against NBA compeitition. Besides he can’t be much worse than Oberto and Armstrong. Nothing to lose.
Do the Wizards still have Ramos’ rights?
I don't think he'd be able to get up and down the court with Wall, Booker, Gil, etc.
He’s huge and I think he has gigantism, I doubt he could handle and NBA schedule.

Yi is averging 25 and 10...lets see how he does this year before snatching up every good FIBA player
The international game is very different. Listen to Fran Frischilla if you can dude is smart he knows a lot unless it comes to Ricky Rubio cause he likes that kid too much.
Fran spoke fairly highly of PJ Ramos when he was in the game against China. But Puerto Rico pulled him and their other bigs once China jumped out to an early lead, and went to a smaller quicker lineup. It appears that PJR’s game has improved, but I wonder if he still is a bit too slow. The Center position in the NBA has changed and PJR seems closer to a throw-back – a big guy better suited to half court play. In general, the Centers he would face are smaller and more athletic than him.
You would think that could get him relatively cheaply. And he is not going to cost them any players to get him. Assuming he wants to give the NBA another shot. At a minimum, I would like to see the Wiz give him an invitation to camp. If Miami can sign 18 players, then the Wiz can atleast invite a few more that could make for an interesting competition.

FIBA productivity
Is often misleading, but hey, what can it hurt? I’m all for it. Anyone know if the Wiz still own his rights? I would would guess no?
