Obviously as the post on the Bucks site mentioned, someone in brewtown remembered the hurting Earl put on the Deer in DC last Winter. It was not just the free throws. There was a marvelous sequence near the end where Earl pounding the ball as the clock ran down actually paid off when he found a wide open Haywood going straight down the middle for a slam.

Corey Maggette and now Earl?

Talk about a complete volte-face from the defensive-minded, team-oriented Bucks of last year. It’ll be interesting to see whether Scott Skiles or his new acquisitions will ultimately define the Deer’s style of play.
