Salary Cap announced at $58.044 Million

According to Marc Stein and many others.

That is almost $2 Million more than the working number the NBA provided the Clubs and more than $8 million higher than feared 18 months ago.

How does that affect the Wizards? Well, for one thing, they now have $9.4 Million in Cap room. But don't get too excited, EVERYONE now has more cap room - so the bidding for players will only get more intense.

UPDATE:

NBA-TV reported that the Luxury Tax will be set at $70.307 Million.... up from $69.92 Million last year.
