Trading for a SF, Suns?
We brought this up in an older post but I thought it deserved some more space to breathe.
The Suns recent moves leave them with a glut of forwards. They've added Hakim Warrick, Turkoglu and Childress to the depth chart that already included Channing Frye, Grant Hill and Jared Dudley. i think Dudley would fit the new Wizards perfectly. He's inexpensive, plays defense, rebounds and hits 3's. Thoughts?
Who else is getting squeezed out around the NBA as guys sign?

Dudley
Yes. Not sure what kind of trade we would have to make, but I like Dudley a lot. He’s a great D and 3 guy to have. Works real hard too. Maybe they need guards? Young, Hinrich, Cartier?
I would also take a chance on Corey Brewer if at all possible. He’s long and plays good D on the wing. Fits in nicely with the “recent lottery pick” strategy that we have. If Barnes could be had for cheap, I would take a look at him too.
I don’t know if the Suns are willing to give up Dudley though. They like their explosive bench with Drajic, Dudley, Almundson, Frye, etc.
Doubtful, unfortunately
Frye spends a lot of time at C stretching the floor, while Hill is probably retiring in a year or two. What would you give up?
We're from the city with the highest murder rate in the country. Why WOULDN'T they call us the Bullets?

The Suns need rebounding at OF or C...
we aren’t stacked at those positions…

Suns need all the help since Amare is gone...
doubt they are looking to give anyone up for somerging they would consider equal…
Cartier or Die.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. In terms of Jared Dudley, I likes his play last year and he performed decently in the post season, I’d be willing to give up someone like Young for him.

I would love Jared Dudley
But I don’t see it happening
If this were the 90s, we'd traded Wall and Javale for Jason Richardson and Grant Hill
Just saying…
Dudley’s good, but he’s not really that special as a defender. I like his rebounding and shooting, though, he could work here. JRich actually could, too, if we traded Gil for him. He’s not a defender, but he’s decent at small forward.

Arizona....
I live in Arizona and based on the sportstalk radio out here, they (Sportstalk and the owner) feel very comfortable with their depth. I don’t think they are interested in any more potential moves unless it improves their team.

Cartier Martin...
I could be wrong, but isn’t Cartier Martin a comparable player? He shoots it very well,
plays tough D and is a competitor. I think all he needs is a shot to a 3 and D role for
the Wizards.
