I like Raymar Morgan

Very athletic SF. We could use him

Agreed

He’d have been a lottery pick if he had left after his sophmore year.

Free agents ought to...

be begging for the opportunity to have Wall making them look good on this team!

i thought Scheyer might be in the mix late. Glad to see he’s getting a shot this summer. As a UNC fan I can’t believe I just said that. The kid can shoot, the end.

Hope we take a look at the young Milsap too. We want to be tougher, that kid is tough.

I dont think Scheyer is NBA material

as much as I dont like him I still respect his game but I dont think he’s got the quickness to play at the NBA level. Definently got enough game to ball in Europe.

i'm p.o.'d that 7 day Dray...

…isn’t making his 5 or 6 summer league appearance! It’s a yearly tradition!

Will they be televised?

I’ve got NBATV, ESPN, ESPN2, CSN, and CSN+, will I be able to see them? God, other than the summer league, I’ve got nothing to watch until pre-season football.

I could have sworn I saw somewhere that they wouldn't be televised anywhere other than NBA TV this summer

Still, it’s not like CSN has a lot of other choices as far as things to show this summer.

Ted's Take

Says summer league games will be on Comcast. Not sure how many though.

by gilsix on Jun 27, 2010 12:36 PM EDT up reply actions

Cool, thanks

I assume it’ll be about half of them like last year, hopefully some will be on NBA TV, too.

Can always pay the NBA and watch on the internet...

That’s what I did last year.

Hope Randle and Morgan make it

No matter how good he is, there’s no way I could handle Scheyerface on the Wiz. It would just be too much. Thought the Bulls were interested in signing him, anyway.

Anyone know if Samhan is still available?

The Washington Wizards: providing career scoring nights for unknown opposing bench players since 2004.

by mamemimo on Jun 26, 2010 8:20 PM EDT via mobile reply actions

I hope he gets consideration from the wizards.. he’ll be the only legit big man scorer we got this draft offseason.

Samhan

is on Atlanta’s Summer League team in Las Vegas

Another report says

he’ll be playing for Dallas on their Summer League team – so I’m not sure which report to believe.

Between Parakhouski and Sarangody

Boston is going to fall in love all over again. With Big Baby, Garnett, and Perkins to teach them how to play dirty? Yikes!

Parakhouski playing like Perkins would be downright illegal. Someone will get assaulted.

Parakhouski is a monster.

I wish the Wizards would move their Summer League team to Orlando

Would be easier and less expensive for their fans to get there…. see the team, etc…

Why would we want

a four year player who can set screens and do the little things? Oh wait….

Not to mention rebound

We don’t have a single above-average rebounder on the team, it’s very troubling. Even Booker will probably struggle like Landry a bit in that area of the game due to his lack of particularly special length.

Randle is kinda overrated, but i'll take Scheyer...

You guys also have to remember, Summer League team = Practice Squad in the NFL for some of these players. We don’t own the rights to Scheyur so basically any team can get him. And we can get any of these other players as well.

Hendrix rocks

Richard Hendrix is an NBA player IMO. This Blatche injury has me nervous, Hendrix is an up & comer:

Eric Hayes

Eric Hayes will be on the Washington Wizards summer league team according to Rob Ehsan’s facebook page.

“Eric Hayes gets picked up by Washington Wizards summer league team and Landon Milbourne will play with Atlanta Hawks summer league. Should be great chance for those guys to prove themselves!”

eric hayes

If this guy did not go to Maryland no one would be talking about him. He can not play at the next level and I am still wondering why we even brought this guy in to workout. There was no chance he was going to get drafted and I can think of plenty of rookie guards that I would rather have than eric hayes.

He is a excellent spot up shooter

But thats the only part of his game that is NBA-level. He becomes a terrible shooter once he puts the ball on the deck, and IMO he isn’t athletic enough to keep up with 90% of the pg’s in the NBA.

He could definently become a successful Euroleague player if he wants too. The halfcourt style they play suits his game. Most gaurds there as quick either, so he has that working in his favor too.
