Basketball Prospectus: Draft Recap
I'm with him that the Kings killed it. And analyzing the draft, coming away with Wall, Hinrich, Seraphin, and Booker isn't a bad day. Interested to see how this Seraphin kid develops. We love 'em raw, I guess.

How exactly did the Kings kill it when they had the 5th pick in the draft and the best player available fell to them? Then with their Whiteside pick, he happened to fall to them as well. Just curious.
Anyone else could have taken Whiteside
Heck, we could have taken him. Ditto for Cousins. The Kings were the only team bold enough to do it, at least versus the four who picked before them.
