And So It Begins...

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time JaVale McGee and John Wall have made contact with one another. Hopefully, this is the start of a beautiful relationship, full of alley-oops and awkward high-fives.

It's three days before the draft
The news can’t be so slow that a tweet of, “sup son” is breaking news!!

I agree. BUT
there really hasn’t been any rumors about much. I follow the yahoo rumors from Mark Miller and Pacers looking to trade, but may go with Daniel Orton if they keep it. Rockets want to move up in draft. Sixers may take Favors. Nothing really interesting in regards to the BOYD strategy.
rumors
it sounds like there’s a handful of teams that are looking to move up in the draft, or add a pick somewhere in the 1st round. so the Wizards will have some competition if they want to add a pick, but I’m not sure these other teams can do more than offer cash for a pick.
also, this morning I read an article about Mike Miller, who clearly is prioritizing finding a team that is playoff-bound. even if drafting John Wall “changes everything” it seems highly unlikely Miller will be back with the Wizards next season.

Easy to picture JW giving McGee more opportunities
for highlight finishes, but until big Javale can learn how to guard the man he’s guarding, he ain’t an NBA center.
Not that I don't want him to learn to, but he could work if he's paired with a very tough power forward
A Chuck Hayes type would allow him to roam a bit more on defense and block four shots a game.
