Either

scouting for the next Earl Boykins, or looking for trade partners for the Wiz’s lottery pick.

Or the next Vladimir Veremeenko

Ridiculous Upside, where developing talent and winning are not mutually exclusive.

Did any of you watch the semis from Paris today?

Rubio was pretty good, including the 3-pt dagger….

And anyone who passes up a chance to repatriate Linas Kleiza or Josh Childress to the NBA is missing a good bet.

From the Wizzie perspective, Kleiza or Childress would be excellent rotation players and they both play the 3, which is the weakest link right now.

Yes

both of them are RFA.
Childress rejected 17.5/3 years last season from the Hawks , so i guess he would ask for a lot of money this season, because he is so much better!

Said Van Gundy about the situation: "(Spanoulis) says, 'I was [Tracy] McGrady back home.' Great. McGrady is McGrady here," ..

Childress probably expects 4 yr at 35 - 40 mil range at this point...

I would think… He got 20 million euro tax paid for 3 years from Piraeus and his game has visibly improved… He has a year left w Piraeus if he so chooses but my guess is that he will want to try the NBA again especially if Piraeus win.

He looked pretty good against CKSA Moscow...

but he was up against the likes of Holden and Langdon in the backcourt… What most impressed me is that, aside from the assists (he had no trouble getting the ball to Vasquez and even the stone-handed N’dong for slams), he did not hesitate to take and make the 3 point dagger when his team was up a few with a couple minutes to go in a what was a very low scoring game even by Euro standards. With Navarro as his backcourt mate, the fact that Ricky would step up and take a crucial shot at that point is noteworthy, I think.

Piraeus is a much better team than CKSA, and I expect that Childress will spend some of his time defending Ricky.

Lets see how he does
