I'm out of town, so I won't be at tonight's game.  I also wrote this while on BoltBus in the mid-afternoon, so it doesn't include any updates from 3 p.m. to gametime.  Sorry about that.  For postgame stuff, I recommend Truth About It, as well as the following Twitter account: DCWIZTruth_About_ItWizardsExtremeMrMichaelLee.

I'll probably watch this on delay at some point.  For all others, comment here.

GO WIZARDS!

red, white, and blue

Can Ted Leonsis be convinced to change the Wizards current blah colors (i don’t even know the names of their colors) back to red, white and blue? We don’t have to change name back to The Bullets, but let’s change the uniform colors, at least.

I'm sure he'd be willing to make a change.

They took the Caps back to the proper colors a couple years ago

hope so

Love to see the basketball court in vivid red, white, and blue. I mean we are in the Nations Capitol!

He's a maniac

Which is why I like him. He’ll learn what he can and can’t do, but for now I enjoy watching him try.

I missed the last two games

can someone explain to me why sean livingston hasn’t been getting too much burn since we’ve signed him? is he playing that poorly?

by Alpha_Snail on Mar 5, 2010 8:34 PM EST reply actions

He and Nick Young

will get some burn when Milwaukee gets to a 30-point lead

i think livingston's been fine

it’s impossible to tell what goes through Flip’s head regarding who to play and who not to play. It often seems as though there’s no rational thought there.

word.

he’s also a much better distributor than boykins. In the limited minutes i’ve seen him play, he seems like a much better option at backup PG. His defense tonight has been pretty terrible though.

Oy, wizards forgot some skills and talent at the homestead today……Go Wizards !

Tough Schedule Rest of the Season

The Wizards are currently 8th seed in the NBA Lottery Playoffs. Of our remaining 23 games, 14 come against teams at or above .500. Of the 10 games against below .500 teams, we play the Bobcats (29-31) twice and the Hornets (31-32) once and the Pistons sandwiched in the middle of the back-to-back with the Hawks and Magic. Maybe the basketball gods have finally done us a favor.
If we go 5-18 the rest of the way, we would finish 26-56 making for a .317 winning percentage. Based on current standings, that would give us the fourth worst winning percentage in the league. This is the stuff Wiz-dreams are made of!

One other thing: Wizards tribute video

Would someone with computer skills compose a tribute to the Arenas/Hughes/Jamison/Butler/Haywood era? That would be really appreciated by myself and I would imagine a great many other Wizards fans out there who are in the seven stages of grieving.
