Wizards snap 16-game losing streak, beat Hornets
I believe there is only one proper response to our team actually winning a game. Take it away, Flava Flav.
Also ... Shaun Livingston!!!! I think he's reached the point where he should stick around next year. New Orleans had small guards, but still, he did a great job directing traffic in the half court offense. It was nice of Flip Saunders to, you know, stick with him down the stretch instead of going to Earl Boykins.

Um...
Livingston did turn the ball over twice (and Singleton once) in the last 20 seconds to allow New Orleans to get within two points before the free throw miss by Posey.
Yep. I’m the wet blanket of this win.
nice clutch free throws though.
some good individual performances overall.

Yes
But in the other 47 and a half minutes of the game, he was spectacular.
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.
Well Singleton’s TO looked like a lack of focus and Livington’s was because of full court pressure which is understandable to an extent. So I wasn’t pleased but I excused Shaun.

I have taped and watched every single game this season and this has been a tough month, but does Nick Young ever pass the ball? There is nothing like watching Nike hit a wild shot, but we gotta start passing better. Those last couple turnovers were tough to watch
you have to be blind; or just crazy, nick young never touch the dame ball, they all ways play keep a way, keep the ball away from young, don’t blame nick because his game is smooth, I hope nick shoot the ball every time he get it, then nick will like the rest off them.
straight talk

Nick had no assist but it seemed like he was making an effort at least and he did at least come through with some key buckets.

Mike Miller!
It seems like he injures himself every single game, but he’s a warrior and finally got in the zone tonight. I think we’ll be seeing more of that next year.
YESSSSSS!!!!!
The streak is over!! I just can’t root for the Wizards to lose AND I damn sure can’t watch to standings to see if we catch a team for 3rd worst in the league. Winning is good, always. S

Happy
Very happy for the players and coaches. The NBA season is grueling. 16 losses in a row takes a toll mentally.
Celebrate boys!
Flip has these guys playing really well
Oberto is really contributing and plays really well off of Blatche and Mike Miller. Those 3 guys have such great court vision and it makes them really tough to defend in a set.
The team defense has been better than good. It’s been great at times.
And McGee is showing flashes of really getting it.

Flip has these guys playing well enough to win 1 in 17 : )
Gotta love this site’s optimism immediately after a win.

Well is a Relative Term
We are talking about starters who will probably be backups next season, if they’re here, and backups who probably won’t even be in the NBA next season. Considering the talent level at Flip’s disposal, I think he’s done a good job at keeping them competitive in most games.

totally agree
I was just giving J.J. a hard time.
It was probably the most competitively played 16-game losing streak ever. Not that there are many to compare them too.

I almost feel guilty complaining about it..
But one rebound in the game for Blatche? Seriously? In 38 minutes?
BRING ON 2010-11!
We're from the city with the highest murder rate in the country. Why WOULDN'T they call us the Bullets?

Excuse Me?
-7 in 13 minutes of play was “tearing it up”? Who was guarding JaVale’s man on defense while he was “tearing it up”? It certainly wasn’t him.

I Will Admit
That he looked much smoother on offense. But I can’t feel good about him until he starts playing less than terrible defense. He still missed a ton of assignments and got thoroughly abused by Aaron Gray, who was +9 in 12 minutes and shot 67% from the field, most of which was against JaVale.
