Randy Foye shut down for rest of season
Foye had a wrist problem that kept him out of Saturday's game. Considering that a) the Wizards have nothing to play for, and b) Foye himself is a potential free agent and likely doesn't want to aggravate the injury while going for a new deal, it makes a lot of sense to shut him down.

Can we just shut the Wizards down for the season?

That's great but
With Gee gone, who will we have to fill up roster spots?

They are going to have a reality show special for that
seriously…what a cluster f of a franchise and season.
Can we talk about Gee leaving please?
“Saunders confirmed the move after practice on Monday, adding that the Wizards didn’t want to risk using any of their salary cap room this summer in order to retain Gee.”

What. The. Fuck. Gee’s tiny salary impacted this decision? Isn’t it guaranteed that whoever we sign to fill that roster spot will cost more than Gee?

There’s a Gee thread below.
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.
That Indicates That
The Wizards were worried about the cap space next season, not this season. Complete BS. I think it is more likely they were worried about the luxury tax this season, but didn’t want to say that because they think it would be bad PR. Better to describe the decision in relation to signing other players so as to not piss off the fan base. As it stands, I’m even more pissed off at this organization’s lack of transparency.

In Other Injury News
I mentioned last Friday that head athletic trainer Eric Waters was rushed to the hospital with appendicitis. Well, he had his appendix removed that night was still in Charlotte recovering. He is expected to return to Washington some time this week.
This one is just too easy. I’ll leave it to others here to crack the jokes on this one.

This Just Keeps Getting Better and Better
But without Foye you should expect to see more Earl Boykins over the final couple weeks of the season.
Awesome!
When Al Thornton gets healthy he’ll start at small forward again. That’s where Gee had been logging increased minutes recently. In the mean time you could be watching the Quinton Ross show.Super Awesome!

Something to look forward too.......
We can destroy the NBA record for conecutive losses in a season. It’s only 23.

Is Sam Cassel in 10MPG shape?
That's right, I said the Wizards would win 49 games in 09-10. Free advice is sometimes worth what you pay.
We Don't Need Him
I’m sure Earl Boykins can handle the extra workload. He’s been practicing dribbling for 2 hours straight during practices.

Tanktastic. Tankalicious! Ultra-tankalistic!!
This is like the game of cards hi-low where the guy with the lowest and/or highest cards wins. You gotta hand it to EG: he might pull out a win in the last rounds!!
