Around SBN: Is Adebayor About To Become A Full-Time Spur?

Since the Wiz had no interest in waiving him, Mike James is trying to get buyout completed today. It won't come close to Z's $1.5m payback.

Michael Lee.

UPDATE: The buyout has been completed. That was quick.

UPDATE by Rook6980: And the official announcement by the Wizards.

Update: From Michael Lee. Mike James may have been able to reach a buy out for as little as $150K. The team seemed to be pretty accommodating to Mike, considering the Ilgauskas payment.

there is always a spot on a team for a guy who can clear the boards. besides, andray can score inside and passes well. so put backs are fine. hope he is big enough to guard some large centers!

Yeah sounds like he could be a great complement to

AB and lemonhead. But size (blatche is 6’11" 250) doesn’t tell the whole story.

James has seen his last minutes in the NBA . . . no way he gets signed by anybody else. If you can’t take minutes away from Nick Young, you can’t play in the NBA.

I hope you’re kidding about your statement but it seems like any bum can get time over nick.
