It should say
“Not TAKING away from the guys we had….” instead of “Not TALKING away from the guys we had….”

Speaking of Deshawn Stevenson
His line tonight:
23 min, 7 points on 3-7, 1-2 from downtown, 4 reb, 2 ast.
I didn’t think he’d play!
My swag was phenomenal.
It helps when guys hustle and can get a stop or two down the stretch
Not saying the Wizards are any kind of defensive stoppers, but on the last few series all five guys were talking, switching, and flying around trying to defend or contest the Bulls shooters when they were looking for a three or two.
That had to be the best...
defensive stand I’ve seen the Wizards make to close out a game in years. I had gotten so use to them having to trade baskets to secure a win. Gil would always have to dribble penetrate to get the “hoop and the harm” in order to win a close one.
Very refreshing to watch them work the last 26 seconds and just getting it done on the defensive end.

Isn't that code for...
The other guys weren’t playing hard all the time?

If it is....
I agree. I would much rather have effort than talent if we’re going to lose. New look Wiz, go hard nightly!
