Mister Irrelevant: Pouring Some Tuff Juice For Caron
Friend of the site Jamie Mottram (also of Yahoo! Sports) says Caron Butler is in his top five Wizards/Bullets list since 1985. I'll use this link as a chance to begin the discussion about where Butler, Haywood and Stevenson rank in recent and more distant franchise history.

it ended badly, but i enjoyed it nevertheless. all three of those guys were big for us this decade. we made some noise. sad it had to end like this.

I don't know about top 5
I remember the post awhile back with the fantasy draft of players. (I forget the guidelines) Arenas and Jamison are definitely top 5. I started watching the Bullets during Webber’s last year…so I’d put Juwan Howard in top 5. AAHHH it’s tough we’ve been so horrible in my first viewing years. I do think Caron is 4th
I think I'd put Juwan Howard over Webber.
Of course that used to be the discussion amongst Bullets fans “Are you a Howard guy or a Webber guy?”. I was always a Howard guy.
watching mavs-OKC on league pass right now -
weird, just weird. go mavs, i guess?

Not a pretty sight, I gather....
Mottram’s list is pretty eye-opening.
Gilbert
C Webb
Jamison
Butler
J Malone
Works for me.
You can’t really swap Caron for Juwan, as Juwan really bottomed out towards the end of his stay in DC, much, much more so than Caron this year.
Rod Strickland got an honorable mention as a player, but there was a comment worth noting here on Rod as a coach, helping Calipari develop D Rose at Memphis and now J Wall at Kentucky. Good point!
