Links: Are the Wizards shopping Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee?

I'm running around, so links only today.  Here we go.

  • The Wizards may be calling teams about trading for either Andray Blatche or JaVale McGee, according to this report.  Pretty vague wording though. [Alex Kennedy, HoopsWorld]
  • A great read on the beginning of another new era in D.C., featuring a conversation with Gilbert Arenas[David Aldridge, TBD]
  • Speaking of Arenas, here's one article taking him to task for his recent strange comments to ESPN. This is an entirely fair response. Personally, I'm just numb to anything the guy says and I'm moving on. [Truth About It]
  • Speaking of numbness, I can't really muster up any response to this news that Arenas has supposedly stopped talking to his fiancee for the last month. Apparently, they broke up in November, and he's cut off contact with her, according to her publicist. That doesn't sound good. It's worth noting, though, that Arenas' fiancee was in attendance when the Wizards went to Los Angeles earlier this month. [Reliable Source]
  • One person says Flip Saunders is on the hot seat. [Shaun Powell, NBA.com]
  • Colin Cowherd's John Wall ridiculousness earned this year's worst media rant of the year award. [Sports Illustrated]
  • Cartier Martin is staying patient as his minutes evaporate. [Michael Lee]
  • JaVale McGee is no longer @bigdaddywookie on Twitter. [@JaValeMcGee34]
  • The Cavaliers have signed Alonzo Gee. [Fanhouse]
