Agreed
Wall, Gil, Hinrich, Howard, Blatche, Yi, McGee, Armstrong.
Pretty solid 8 man rotation. Obviously we’ll have to throw in some inconsistencies with Thornton, Young, etc. But those top 8 could be pretty good. I really don’t understand how so many are predicting us to be THE worst team in the league. I guess only time will tell.
Someone Explain to Me
How a sports reporter can write 10 paragraphs on an injured player and never answer the one question the reader wants to know – when is he coming back?
“If you watch him on the floor doing skeleton runs, you’d think that he could play that night. He’s pretty advanced. A lot more advanced than what we thought, but we’re going to take our time,” Coach Flip Saunders said. “I would anticipate that he’ll probably facilitate things in the next two or three weeks. We’ll kind of take our time and see where we are at. We’re not going to push him back, but we’re not going to push him to get there. We’re going to make sure he’s back close to 100 percent.”
So coach, what do you mean by “facilitate things”? Does that mean he might be fully participating in practices? Does that mean he might be ready to start the regular season? When do you “anticipate” he’ll be 100%?
Don’t get me wrong, I respect Michael Lee as a reporter, but this article was 80% fluff with only a tiny morsel of actual meat.

"...don't ever think it can't get any worse, because it can. There's no question, it can." -- Flip Saunders unintentionally coining the new Washington Wizards motto
