Video: Arenas banner removed from VZ
I know I'm in the minority, but this is disgraceful. The Wizards are pulling the plug on a harmless guy. Absolutely harmless. With all the talks of thugs, violence, and the NBA - Arenas just doesn't belong with the likes of Stephen Jackson or Ron Artest. I love Ron Ron (he's hilarious), but to be put in his same boat with a similar punishment is, well you guessed it, absurd.
I'm so sad about all this.

As for the Crittenton side of the equation, the Wizards are hoping that Mount Stern does not erupt again in response to what the Washington Post is reporting, because an indefinite suspension of the third-year guard (should Stern choose to impose one) could make Crittenton more difficult to trade. The thinking in Washington’s front office is that Crittenton, with his expiring $1.48 million contract, could be a key piece to a puzzle in terms of making salaries match if the Wizards find a trade they like prior to the Feb. 18 deadline.
This boggles the mind. Do everything you can to lay down the gauntlet on Arenas because of his big/long contract, but keep the Crittenton brandishing a loaded gun story on the down-low because his contract is tradeable.
(I’m with you too se7en)
I doubt teams are clamoring for JC's 1.5 mill expiring
If that is actually the front office’s thought process….Wow
