Wizards lead wire-to-wire in solid win in front of few fans
There was a whole lot to like about tonight on all fronts. Mike Miller shooting. Young guys playing key minutes and playing them well. Good coaching adjustments that allowed the Wizards to solve the Knicks' matchup zone eventually. This was one of the best wins of the season.
It's too bad more fans didn't see it because of the snow (and, well, the team).

Yeah heard AJ set a career high. I was a little impressed with Nick’s play given the minutes he played and it feels like forever since I’ve seen him on the court.

I may be
of the minority, but I expect to see more of this play from Young after Butler is dumped. Nick is definitely one of those players that needs major minutes to get into a groove. And, once he does, he is a legit weapon offensively.
that needs major minutes to get into a groove
Funny, didn’t he hit a 3 within seconds of entering the game?

Yes he did
and it was great to see. My statement was directed more towards the people who keep saying he’s “had his chance to prove himself.” To me, that’s such a tired argument when you’re talking about one of the worst teams in the league. It essentially tells me that people think that it’s OK to lose as long as you’re doing it with “proven players.”
The games I miss they start winning? Booo.

Now THIS was a classic Bullets win right here.
Unsung heroes lighting it up and nobody cares because there’s no star and the teams in question are fighting for sole possession of 10th place in the East ;)
