Lakers control game, beat Wizards comfortably

The Wizards really didn't do that much wrong tonight. The Lakers are just a much, much, much, much better team right now.

Honestly, Flip and company should be able to find some positives in tonight's game to emphasize to the players to keep their confidence up. The Lakers are just in a different class right now.

The Positives>>

Believe it or not, the Wizards outrebounded the Lakers— both total rebounds and offensive rebounds. They shot over 50 percent as team.

The wiz would have beaten most NBA teams with the kind of effort they put forth tonight against the Lakers.

The problem was the Lakers defense was just too good. whenever the Wizards got close, they would clamp down until there was only 7-8 seconds left on the shot clock.

They sure couldve used Agent Zero in these key situations with the shot clock running down.

what if the wiz played a game against the league champs

and no one cared? seems that is the case. sad sad season, even by wizards standards.

can’t play like this every night. I’m getting tired of hearing Glen Consor say “if they were playing most other teams tonight, the Wizards win this game.” I really hope they blow this up soon. I don’t know how much more of this groundhog’s day crap I can take.
