Washington Post: Ted Leonsis facing Wednesday deadline on Wizards sale

As I understand this article, though, what that really means is that, if Leonsis and the Pollin estate can't agree on a sale price, it will just drag things out a little longer. Basically, if they can't agree on a price by Wednesday, they'll each hire someone to estimate the price. If those two can't agree, they'll hire a third outside party to estimate the price. Leonsis can then accept the third party's price and purchase the team, or he can decline and the team would go on the open market, with Leonsis still retaining the right to match any offer. In other words, there are a lot of hoops that have to be jumped through for Leonsis to not have this team. Here's hoping that the two sides agree sooner rather than later.
