As far as the games goes

The Bulls seem difficult to predict, they are coming off beating Boston so we’ll see what they have left tonight.
I think the Wiz could take this game.

I'm hoping to continue to see Foye have a 2-1 ast/to ratio

and shot a high percentage. It would be nice to see McGee get some burn as Chicago doesn’t feature any bruisers down low.

Yeah - I'm spoiled

CSN is HD, but CSN+ is not….. so now it looks like a poor internet feed to me….

God I love Noah

Team player, doesn’t care about stats, does all the little things, cares only about how well the team does, etc.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

by Mike Prada on Jan 15, 2010 8:19 PM EST reply actions

Hinrich would be great in Flip's system

He just makes too much money

If he made MLE money he’d be a nice asset.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

by Mike Prada on Jan 15, 2010 8:21 PM EST up reply actions

Yeah

but money aside, he’d do well here.

low mistake player…. shoots well off screens…. PG with ball handling skills…… can hit the open 3….. plays excellent defense at the point (for instance in a zone)…. excellent one-on-one defender…

any word on when the NBA will give official Gilbert suspension

they shouldnt need to wait till sentencing – that should be irrelevant to what the NBA does

by arijordan on Jan 15, 2010 8:22 PM EST reply actions

? they cant leave it indefinite

stern will have to act – i am sure the union will demand it

by arijordan on Jan 15, 2010 8:27 PM EST up reply actions

don't know if either are true but while listening to SC or Rome

I heard that the collective bargaining agreement has a 10 game suspension limit for a violent felony.

Jackson got a 6 game suspension for firing a gun outside a club.

but even basic labor laws would force the NBA into due process

let alone the union….they can ban him, or suspend him for 2 years, or whatever they want or choose.

but the indefinite without pay while he is under contract is shaky ground that they will have to step off of soon

hi my name is Carolyn and I'm a Gilbertholic

I come hoping to join others in accepting what I cannot change.

because i have absolutely nothing to say about our team right now.

ill say this, the bulls announcers are one of the few in the league that i dont have to mute. if anything, they’re being a little generous in their comments towards us.

by ianflo on Jan 15, 2010 8:36 PM EST reply actions

i noticed that too

also really liked the philly announcers – ed pinkney (spelling?) is pretty good

i think blatche picked up 3 stupid fouls

so he could go back to the bench.

Caron's just giving Deng that shot

Which is ridiculous because mid-range jumpers are literally all Deng can do offensively.

by Mike Prada on Jan 15, 2010 8:48 PM EST reply actions

honestly foye needs to play every remaining minute of the season

otherwise this team is totally bullshit and i can’t even pretend they have a shot at winning

agree..how many MPG has he been averaging since Gil was suspended?

there was a game or two ago where I thought Flip put EB in for too long. Foye should be averaging 42-43 MPG.

its like he cant shoot without doin it. he’d barely get through 2 racks at the all-star 3 point contest.

by ianflo on Jan 15, 2010 9:04 PM EST up reply actions

pump fakes..

..when you are out on the perimeter (like butler does 100 percentof the time) doesnt work…it only gives time for the defender toclose out on you. pump faking works best on a post move (ala kobe).

that stevenson shot

might be the worst shot i have seen this year in the nba

by arijordan on Jan 15, 2010 8:54 PM EST reply actions

Just came in

Not sure I can watch the game because I have Verizon in Richmond. Now that Arenas is likely gone, what do the folks on here think of trading for Kirk Hinrich?

Christmas is over. Unfortunately it’s time to take the tree down and wait until next year (or three years from now).

I am throwing darts at this point

now that I know that everything has truly crashed around this team’s ears. I would hope for John Wall but last year’s lottery scarred me for life.

uh - oh...4th quarter.

we have a 3 pt lead..but here’s the script.

wiz start slow at in first few minutes…3 point lead becames 7-8 point deficit early.

boykins in at beginning… pounds the ball too much, cant get good lucks, bulls start to post him up down low.

wiz play bad defense….

bulls lead goes to 10, Wiz catch up.

in lst 3-4 minutes, we just can’t execute. foye, aj jack up quick shots.

bulls win at the buzzer.

by CVC on Jan 15, 2010 9:52 PM EST reply actions

Jamison has 3 years left in his contract and most likely career, this team is not going anywhere in that time. It’s only fair to let him go, as we can not build around him.

and he's having such a good rebounding night

their weak front line makes him and Antawn look like Dennis Rodman and.. some other guy who rebounded a lot.

I can’t believe they call United Center “Madhouse on Madison.” Nickname should’ve died with Chicago Stadium.

weird to watch

No way

If only because I haven’t seen any reason to extend him. Not sure Nick Young shouldn’t take that shot, but I also have checked out somewhat lately.

by BayAreaBullet on Jan 15, 2010 10:55 PM EST up reply actions

I don’t have a problem with him. He’s been hurt and nobody’s been that good this year, so it’s tough to say with any certainty. He’s probably not a piece I’d keep in a rebuild…

Can’t CSN cut a CSN+ game as soon as the CSN game is over?

by bronco6778 on Jan 15, 2010 11:09 PM EST reply actions

I have the Caps, and that could be consolation enough. It’s just all the bleeding stupidity that leads to the poor product that kills me. I’d be fine with solid teams even if they don’t win championships every year.

was being able to finally get rid of Vinny Cerrato. So it wasn’t entirely awful.

by KShark28 on Jan 15, 2010 11:23 PM EST up reply actions

I hope it turns out it was his fault. Every time I saw Snyder and Allen together in the owner’s box (and it was literally every time) I cringed, because I know he’s still going to be in the way.

by bronco6778 on Jan 15, 2010 11:26 PM EST up reply actions

It is just like the Redskins. You know it’s coming, but you hope they can somehow pull it off. Like that Saints game. Just thinking about it makes my chest hurt.

All that fire for naught. All those points, and the effort put in by ’Tawn and Brendan, and everyone else. Maaaan, this is just painful.

If there’s any truth the the rumor that Leonsis may sell I could see myself walking away from basketball. I hope it’s just anger saying that, but I don’t know.

That said I just can’t see Leonsis selling. This is why he bought the Caps.

by bronco6778 on Jan 15, 2010 11:13 PM EST reply actions

Technically we won.

Yes I couldn’t resist, I’m a loyal fan, I watched.

I say we technically won because Deng clearly traveled on a three point play.

It’s disappointing they reviewed the call they made when ball went out of bounds but they couldn’t review Deng when he clearly traveled but instead got 3 points to give his team a win.

That’s what you get with the Wizards though bad luck and bad calls. If Arenas was on court this game was over. Pc and gnite yall
