Wizards come back, can't finish the deal down the stretch
They played really well, they really did. I can't fault their effort. The Hornets just had Chris Paul and we didn't have Gilbert Arenas. That made the difference at the end.
Though is it too much to ask for Antawn Jamison to get the damn ball down the stretch?

Apparently so Para
Our motto here is hand the ball to the guy who isnt hot… Get in Boykins deficits… Keep Caron out the third… And if you are hot try to make the worst pass ever and result it in a turnover.
Blow it up already.
Is it possible for this team to win when Caron doesn't score?
Increasingly, the answer appears to be “no”.
It's pretty bad when you have a higher fg% and more rebounds and still lose
I honestly can’t figure out what we did wrong other than the turnovers and I guess the defense on Peja in the beginning of the game.
yeah
As “deep” as this team was supposed to be it seemed like things fell apart whenever the reserves started to come in.
But there were some f’ing great performances. Both Jamison and Haywood are playing like All-Stars. The way Jamison is playing the Wizards better be able to get more for him than Big Z’s expiring contract. I’ve seen a lot of talk about the Cavs hoping they can get Jamison without having to give up JJ Hickson, but I really hope the Wizards get something in return for these players other than just $$.
Jamison is aging like wine.

I know they have to break this bunch up....
but I agree they should get something worthwhile in exchange for AJ… in fact I think they should trade just about everyone else before him… despite his years…
Butler has to be the first chip they play. Then let’s see
didn't see the end
my internet cut out. i did see that ben gordon scored his 10,000,000th point last night (according the graphic they put up at halftime LOL).
what i saw was too many boneheaded plays on offense, and some hot shooting from new orleans (in the first half). then a stretch where new orleans went cold and we got back in the game, but we probably dug too big a hole to finish, assuming new orleans would start hitting its shots again.
but it does look different than earlier, we actually have a chance to win games these days. looks like we’ll be without mike miller though.

No, it was that he scored the NBA's 10 millionth point

It’s still ridculous to me that Arenas is “unfit” and the uneducated criminal Delonte is “fit” for the NBA
Sterns is full of shit

Street clothes
…for DS as long as he continues salvitating over Arenas.
Two-time offender, no remorse
As a result, Arenas will get the book thrown at him. He’s already admitted to a felony and rubbed it in the face of the legal system. He could get time for the way he handled it, and that’s hard to do for this offense.
Izman your joking right?
Watching the Cavs winning right now is pissin me off.
Delontes offense never got him suspended, they have never had their AllStar or nearly anyone injured. And they knocked us out three playoff seasons in a row. Disgusting.
Cavs fans talk so much shit “your teams the worst in the league”. They never had to deal with there AllStar being out from injury and being out from Sterns uneccesary crap.
Sterns = Cavs fan

Delonte already has been indicted
He will have a trial to determine whether he is guilty or innocent. He faces several charges with a possible long-term prison sentence. If he is found guilty, the NBA will act accordingly.
Gilbert’s situation is different because he flaunted the law publicly at the 76er game.
bad teams will find a way to lose
thats all you can really say about this one. poor execution down the stretch, and the turnovers, so many turnovers. also, the only way i could cope with all the open threes we gave up was to bang my head against the seat in front of them. what day is it? i cant remember anymore.
Well I think this team is more fun to watch then they were before all that crap went down. With Miller they certainly are.
Best games of the year
Next to the Dallas and Cleveland victories, these past two games (minus Earl Boykins minutes) have been the most entertaining and the most satisfying.

I didn’t even care we were losing it was just awesome and nostalgic seeing Arenas have a 45 point game then boom the gavel hit what I thought would be a 7 game suspension at post was another season gone not to the knee but something else when he’s finally healthy. Pitiful.

Best moment of the game
“Jump” ball between Blatche and Songila, two notoriously poor leapsters.
I was thinking it should have been called a “reach ball”.

Our current team
I think the team played really well against a very hot team. The last few minutes, obviously, were a killer. Flip seems to have a short leash with NY and I don’t blame him. Perhaps this will keep NY off the floor in the final minutes, although with Miller perhaps out again I’m not sure we have that many options.
I prefer watching a team play well together, make the extra pass etc. We looked like the 07-08 team in many ways.
The question becomes: Do you keep a mediocre but exciting hustling team together and hope for improvement or do you tear it down, start from scratch and hope for the best. While the answer may seem obvious to some people, there are a LOT of franchises out there that are happy having a team in the 7-8 playoff hunt and selling tickets rather than being terrible for years. I’m not taking a position on this question, just posing it.
if jamison wasn't on his last legs
i’d be happy to keep this going a little longer

yeah that's the wrong expression to use
but i’m sure you understand what i’m getting at.
btw, the first thing ted should do is replace the training staff. this mike miller thing has me peeved.
