I wanted to express anger at Byrnes for having us 4th in the SE, but it’s very possible. The Heat won 43 games last year, and they could be better despite the East also getting better. I wouldn’t bet money on it though.

The popular choice is lining it Magic, Hawks, Wiz, Heat, Bobcats. I like to think we’ll be better than the Hawks, end up 2nd in the SE and 4th in the conference, but either way we may likely face Atlanta in the playoffs.

No matter what, I’m hoping we face the Cavs somewhere in the playoffs. I know I’m getting way ahead of myself, but I dream of beating them in a playoffs series. As if we didn’t get enough chances already.

i keep getting the feeling that we will win our division this season … i think Orlando will struggle at first then when they get there swag it might be too late for them to catch up to us it will be very close from finishing 1 – 4 in the southeast it seems…

that said, i have to think that 2nd in the division is what we should expect. don’t believe in the hawks, at all. they’ll be like they have been the last 2 years – capable of beating anyone, but not very disciplined or consistent.
