Doolittle at Basketball Prospectus again has some interesting analysis in terms of strength of schedule, and how the East compares with the West. The Southeast division seems to be the toughest in the East, and there are probably going to be 4 teams in the playoffs from that division (Orlando, Atlanta, Miami & Wiz). Note/Front Page Promotion: With early tests, and a March that could be brutal, it should be no surprise that the research at Basketball Prospectus tabs the Wizards as having the toughest schedule in the Eastern Conference, and 9th overall league-wide. What might surprise you is that Cleveland has the easiest schedule with Orlando and Boston ranking third and fourth easiest respectively. Now bring on the conspiracy theory comments.
