Just one game at Verizon

I feel it’s been like this last year and the year before too but I can’t remember too well. Last year was understandable given the European games.

We haven’t had a preseason game in Richmond since Mugsey and LJ were on the Hornets. SO I’m pretty pumped the Wiz are playing the Griz here. Watching them scrimmage is cool but this will be ten times better.

Oh yes-

definitely don’t begrudge you your game. I actually think that is pretty cool. Just feel that too many away games. But I shouldn’t be complaining. It’s not like I’m starved for games. I’m just eager to see the new look team.

This is at least the fifth year in a row there's been no more than two.

Last year we had two, and the year before there was one at VC and one at Patriot Center. To be honest I prefer it since season ticketholders are obligated to buy them.

We are?

Hmm, I think that one of the last two years I got my ticket for free. I haven’t been told about this by my account rep either. I don’t mind but yes having to buy a whole bunch of them would be annoying.

Sorry, spoke out of turn

I used to have season tickets with the Knicks and they required you to pay for preseason games, usually 2 or 3. I always found that annoying and a scam.

I can’t speak for the Wizards, obviously a more enlightened organization.

why are they in richmond?

this maybe slightly off topic but I wish the Wiz had their training camp at a place like College Park. oh well.

any word on if they will be on tv?
