The Silver Lining of the Salary Cap Cloud
This should make morethesamewiz very happy. It details all of the ways teams like the Wizards will benefit financially from the league's financial shortfalls.

That extra $6 million later this summer should help, but if the Wizards end up resigning all of their free agents next season they may end up in luxury tax hell, much worse than now. On the flip side they may be able to resign Haywood, Miller and Foye for much less than they would otherwise so maybe it won’t be so bad (unless you’re Haywood, Miller or Foye of course).

Great find
Currently using this in the post I’m writing now.
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

Don't think so
I think there will be some players taking less next year but this will only revert the league into a baseball type of league where you will have certain teams that are willing to go over the cap and then some teams that won’t. You will have the lakers/Mavs vs Celtics/Cavs. Those playoff games and revenue has to help and worth it for the wizards to gamble for only one year and risk a 10 to 15 mill over the cap hit to see if this team can win it all now.
