I actually think this is a pretty solid deal for both teams

I don’t think Evans’ toughness will help the Raptors as much as some think it will, but his contract is friendlier than Kapono’s and he will provide a nice change of pace on that roster.

Its nice to see Eddie Jordan get one shooter

The Sixers lack of shooting should get Kapono more playing time than he got in Toronto, and should be a good off-ball option for both Iggy.

As long as Kapono realizes he's a specialist

It’ll work. Problem is, Kapono hasn’t and keeps trying to slash and score rather than shoot threes.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

I think Philly's a better fit

He was earned that mid-level deal from playing well in Miami, and a lot of that was probably from playing off Wade. Calderon is a good assist guy, but Iggy is the guy that Toronto didn’t have that he should be able to play alongside. But I agree with you that he is a specialist – just the kind of change of pace Philly needed behind Lou Williams.
