Wow

The Hornets have the highest payroll in the league right now. I don’t think that will last very long though.

Is this cause for concern for the Wiz?

I know it affects this offseason depending on how much Pollin wants to eat in luxury tax but how about in future years?

Realistically, how much would the Wiz/Bull have to offer Haywood to keep him?

Maybe eight million?

Big men always get overpayed, but at least Haywood isn’t a big name, and he’ll be relatively old come next summer.

Also, I think that these numbers are skewed a bit when it comes to us; yes, we have the third highest payroll in the league, but we’re also in a year where we don’t have anyone other than Juan Dixon coming off the books. We’ll probably be in the middle of the pack once the season starts. And wow, NO is really not getting that much bang for their buck. I bet they can’t wait until Peja’s contract expires.
