Rice
BC alum here (and Wiz fan, of course). Watched Rice for 4 years he’s a very talented player offensively. Pulled it back senior year to focus on running the point. Sure he’s small, we’ll have to see about the D at a higher level, but if we unload guards for a big he might not be bad on the bench. Not a key need, but he’s very, very good.

Thank goodness we have another guard coming
I thought we wouldn’t have enough.
I do like Rice though.
Getting buckets since 2003.

I heard that the Wizards are just sending Guards to Summer Camp
Rice, Young, Crittenton, Foye, Dee Brown and about 7 un-drafted or D-League Guards. No Centers or Forwards… A whole new concept in Offensive and Defensive basketball.
Offensively, whoever touches the ball once it passes the half-court line must shoot it… – and then immediately call time-out to prevent a Fast Break the other way. The other 4 players make a bee-line to the Wizard’s bench, so that when the Time Out is called, they are ready to receive instructions from the Head Coach.
The new Defense is called the “Princeton Defense”. It starts when the other team puts the ball in play – All 5 Wizard’s defensive players do a weave pattern. The Weave must be precise, so as each player approachs each other, they circle back to back, then return to their original positions. This helps to to keep the proper spacing. This is called the do-si-do maneuver. Then the defenders break out into a Conga line, stretching directly in front of the basket. This is called “protecting the Rim”. .ta-da…da-da..DA-DA…. ta-da…da-da..DA-DA….…. By the time the other team stops laughing, the 24 second clock will have expired.
It’s genius, I tell you.
