Lost in the Draft shuffle: Heytvelt

I tried to stay awake and watch until all picks were made, but I was unable to do it. However in checking out the list of draftees, I found that one person was missing: Josh Heytvelt.

Jake wrote an excellent article on the man and Truth even mentioned it in the draft thread as a possible pick if DeJuan Blair was not available at 32. He even had a workout with Wizards' brass. We know how the pick went, however now that he's an undrafted free agent... how would everyone feel with an invitation to the Summer League? Do you think he'd fit into our plans?

I don't see why we wouldn't

Unless he has character issues (which he might), I say give him a shot. If he’s 6’11, mobile, and relatively strong, he’s exactly what we’d need. It’s not like we won’t have the roster spots, too, since any possible deal for another big man would probably involve trading multiple wings.
