Kornheiser goes off again about Gilbert
"I'd like to see them trade Gilbert Arenas," Kornheiser said. "They're not gonna do that, are they? Well, the team has been torpedoed, it's just been totally torpedoed. I mean, firing Eddie Jordan was ridiculous, it made no sense. I mean, you have money locked up in this great player, except he doesn't actually play. You know, this is like having a painting and putting it in a closet so no one can see it. You buy a Renoir and nobody can see it, it's in the shop. It's getting a new frame. So I'm one of those few people who wonders, what have they done the last three years, what have they done to get better? And I don't really see them getting better over the last three years."
I don't really care about this much, to be honest, since everyone is going to have a difference of opinion, but I'm of the same mind as Dan Steinberg. TK is crazy if he thinks Eddie Jordan, and not Gilbert Arenas, put the Wizards on the map.

I like TK
but this is getting tiring. Can we at least wait until Grover works with him to throw Gilbert under the bus?
Its always Roger Mason (Jr.) time!
Can't someone ship Kornheiser to the west coast or something?
The further away the better.
(sob)
When I think about how I’m never going to see Eddie Jordan coach the Wizards again, it just makes me cry. Who is going to make me happy 42 times a year like he did??!! Oh, the agony!!
Eddie should give seminars to coaches about how to get local media to love you. That dude was a master at that.
Firing Eddie
So I’m one of those few people who wonders, what have they done the last three years, what have they done to get better? And I don’t really see them getting better over the last three years.
and
I mean, firing Eddie Jordan was ridiculous
Tony keeps saying “Gilbert Arenas” when it seems like he means “Ernie Grunfeld”.
???
You know who was good about twenty years ago and then ran out of material and became insanely annoying?
Kornheiser keeps trying to get attention any way he can
Pathetic.
I wonder if he really believes anything he says anymore or if it’s just calculated to garner attention.
I really don't get it
It’s one thing to question the decision to re-sign Gilbert, but its quite another to recommend trading him when his value is at an all time low and its completely out of line to blame him for Eddie being fired and to throw him under the bus when he can’t even play.
Wait for him to come back and criticize his play if it stinks. Tony is just being inflammatory for no reason.
