Kirk Hinrich to Minnesota?
"One rumor that’s been around is trading Kirk Hinrich to Minnesota for an expiring deal and the No. 6 pick. That should be high enough to grab a player like Henderson. And you’d be in better position in 2010 with Hinrich’s deal off the books with more salary cap space available to perhaps make offers to two top free agents, which is one strong option for the Bulls"

Chicago and Minnesota had a deal before the deadline last season. I’m not sure who pulled out, I think it was Chicago. That deal was just for expiring contracts though, not picks.
Would Mike James, Stevenson and #5 (and/or 32) get us Heinrich, 16, and 26? I would want to get Tim Thomas as well. Yes, you read that correctly. i want Tim Thomas. This is the only time i want Tim Thomas, in his contract year.

I'd like to get Tim Thomas for Stevenson or Songaila too
If we gave up the #5 for Hinrich, we should have the option of pawning off one of our longer/worse contracts on the Bulls. Thomas would be serviceable in his expiring year. The trade you listed above seems very level.

Where's the rumor, ledell?
Inside Hoops must have refreshed the page. What’s the original source?
You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.
