Richardson still has his same girlfriend, Roshonda Jacqmain, a student at Saginaw Valley University and the mother of his 2-year-old daughter Jaela.

"She had concerns about the NBA lifestyle," Richardson said. "It was a time when she would come to me and talk about it all the time saying, ‘I know this and that happens on the road. I know girls are at the hotel.’ I said, ‘Roshonda, it don’t happen that way, not with our team. Maybe if we were a winning team, we’d have girls around like that.'
