Making myself feel worse.
Man, I don't know if this makes it worse or what. Maybe we can have a Steve Francis situation? haha. No, Blake Griffin isn't really that type of guy. But this does make you wonder of what could've been. It really sounded like he and his family wanted him to be here if he couldnt stay at home.
Taylor Griffin picked Washington.
Griffin said he focused his pre-lottery attention on his hometown Thunder and Washington, the latter a team he thought he could help immediately with Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison.

It is Understandable
The problem with dominant college players when they transition to the NBA is that they are winners used to winning and they usually get grabbed by a terrible team. The rare exception is when a borderline playoff team wins the lottery or when a typically good team has a bad year due to injuries. Griffin probably eyed Washington because he realized that they aren’t as bad as their record indicates.
But it was not to be.

a great point that is forgotten too often… It is conceivable that Blake will lose as many games this year with the Clippers as he has lost in his college/high school career combined.
