I guarded Reynolds in highschool

When he played for Herndon. He played very well as a freshman but fell off in his second year. I think his solid tournament performance will keep him in the first round though.

And btw, dude effortlessly dropped 35 on us. He is a strong guard with knack for scoring. I’d take him in the second just like the other 4 point guards we’ve been talking about.

I've watched Scottie closely...

over the past 3 years. I’ve seen him practicing, seen his games against LaSalle, seen him taking longer showers to avoid having to speak to the press, etc. One thing I question is his growth potential. Does he have what it takes to be the next Rodney Green (who would have been invited to work out I am told, but he is returning for his senior season)?

the legend

The Legend of Lester Hudson, still one of my favorites from last draft before he pulled his name. IIRC, crazy big hands, long arms and plays an all around game. Great fit for the summer league team.

Amen

I hope we can figure out a way to give Lester Hudson a shot in Washington.

Rodney Green?

Who the hell is Rodney Green? I had to look him up, and he plays for some no-name school called La Salle? I see his two games against major schools, he shot 9-27. Looks like he might be decent, but we’re talking about Scottie Reynolds here. The guy can flat out score the basketball. If he comes out, he makes a lot more sense in the 2nd round than some no-name like Green.

Longer showers to speak to the press? Has any La Salle player ever had to speak to the press? You sound bitter and biased. You’ve seen his games against La Salle? Nova hasn’t beaten LaSalle by less than 10 points since 2002. You’re kidding yourself if you think you can judge a player by games against an irrelevant walk-over school.

Rodney Green

Rodney “Makes Me Cream” Green is the best player in Philadelphia. He’s better than any of the punks Nova has, and will be an All-American this year, leading LSU to the big dance. That’s a wcburrs87 guarantee.

Frankly

I don’t see either Scottie Reynolds OR Rodney Green being drafted….. this year… or next year.

But at least Rodney has a catchy phrase to remember him by.
