Can't Complain Too Much
The Wizards got two wins and nearly had a third against the best team in the NBA. To hope for anything more than a respectable blowout tonight would've been pressing our luck.
(This is normally where I'd say, "Oh well, better luck next time." But of course, there's not going to be a next time, since the Wizards won't be facing the Cavs in the playoffs this year. You'd think that I'd be ready for that given how the season has gone, but I still find myself having to remind myself that we're not going to the playoffs this year. It's a depressing feeling.)

I have a hard time calling the Cavs the best team in the NBA, even if they do have the best record. I think there are better teams.
Should they win the title—and I don’t think they will—I’d call them the weakest winner in 30 years.

They're not gonna beat the Lakers, even with homecourt advantage.

Assuming they can get past Orlando, which I doubt. 2-6 Record against the elite teams is hardly praiseworthy.

You don't think they can get past Orlando?
I think it would be a decent series, but I don’t know if the Magic are quite up to that level yet. But Howard is getting better every game, so I guess it’s possible.

If the game were refereed by neutral robots instead of the NBA I would give a decent edge to Orlando. As is, I’d say it’s 50-50.

I, on the other hand,
can barely believe we actually went to the playoffs last year. It seems so so long ago.
Getting buckets since 2003.
