Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

He blathers on about the Cavs "Whizzing Past the Wiz" and a bunch of stuff that us Wizards fans really don't feel like hearing, nor forcibly digesting.

I skimmed over it, but I'm not reading it...the gist is that things, such as injuries, happen and that franchises make different moves.

He still writes things? Are they coherent? Crazy.

I read it-

Feels a little like a low blow but maybe because the Cleveland/Wiz playoffs series never end our way and I’m super sensitive to that and hate Cleveland. I’ve had enough of the media kissing Lebron’s ass. It’s never ending.

Wilbon's column writing these days

really saddens me. I basically taught myself to read through reading him and Kornheiser. Now it seems like all he does is talk to one or two athletes he’s friendly with and not really think through the topics on his own.

He's really busy

I’m actually kind of surprised he still writes the column. His last Redskins article was good, though.

It was good

but it was also easy to write. Wilbon’s very proud of being a newspaper columnist, and I’m pretty sure he’s said he still considers it his primary job. But you’re right, he really has a lot going on in his life and I doubt he devotes a ton of time to them anymore.

Injuries or not the Cavs (and a handful of other EC teams) are on a whole different level than the Wiz.
