Is anyone else using these games to remind themselves what competitive basketball looks like? That's what I thought.

Did anyone catch the end of that Sixers-Magic game?

Iguodala gives us our first epic shot of the playoffs. If the early games have given us any indication, the playoffs should be mighty epic this year.

i tend to follow the playoffs less w/o the Wiz

but that game was great – arizona player hitting a dagger. good for sixers, but i couldn’t help be sad that we don’t get those chances this season. i think iggy’s shot made it hit home that the wiz are done, and have a ton of work to do just to get back to playoff contention

It Pays

It pays to have a big old shooter like Donyell Marshall on your squad.

Philly did what the Wizards may look into: getting older vets coming off the bench, guys who can either defend/rebound or hit 3’s. Philly picked up Theo Ratliff off the street and acquired Marshall to do just what he did the other night.
