D'oh!

I knew I was forgetting to do something today. In other news, I forgot how amazing Derrick rose was until about an hour ago.

Boston looks terrible

More than Chicago looking good, methinks.

You know you'll get devoured by Cheaney, Wallace, and Juwan Howard.

Yeah

But I think it will serve as a slap in the face game that fires them up for the rest of the series.

Wow

Derrick Rose is insane. This game is fun.

Indeed

I know he’s bound to cool off at some point, but I’m just not sure when. I hope it isn’t for a while.

This game is going to make up for the upcoming Cleveland-Detroit blowout.

Yeah

I’m running the other way from that one too. Watching this game is making me sad though. I had become used to going to the playoffs and I’m not used to sitting on my ass at home. I’m also dreading a potential Cleveland/Lakers final. But fingers crossed for some upsets.

It's been a year

since the Wizards and Cavaliers heated game 1, I still remember how tough that game was to lose. Next year baby, next year.

Rose looks great, Boston looks like they’re trying to prove that they’re going to get raped by the Magic before the second round even starts. A game 1 at home should be an easy win for a 2 seed but they’re struggling with Chicago. I still think the Celtics will pull out this series.

I think Rose just realized he's being guarded by Marbury.

Noah is a moron

What an idiot.

This game needs to be over -

so I can go out and enjoy this day. Game just sucked me in. Didn’t think it was going to be this exciting.

Is that score right?

Did Chicago just pull an upset in game 1?

36 points and 11 assists in your first playoff game?

Jerk.

He doesn't have an iota of modesty in his body

Someone asked him what it’s like to be considered an elite player, and without being prompted, he said that it was cool to be mentioned in the same breath as Michael, Magic, Larry, and Kobe.

Most guys would say they’re not even close to being in that class, and even though LeBron is, guys usually don’t admit it.

Yeah, totally agree

To a certain extent, this isn’t his fault. I mean, if you were exalted as the next best thing and God’s gift to basketball since you were 12 years old, wouldn’t you get a little full of yourself too?

without KG…..

Should be a Cavs vs. Magic EC Final…

By the way

Watching Hinrich today made me even more convinced that he’d fit in well here as a 25-30 minute hybrid 1/2 player. He defended Pierce really well today.

nate33 suggested a Hinrich trade on Real GM here. I’d vary it to something like this. (Note: I’d only make the trade if we don’t get a top-two pick).

Wizards trade: #3, Mike James, DeShawn Stevenson
Bulls trade: Hinrich, #16

I’d throw in Critt or Pech to give them another asset if necessary.

No way Chicago goes for that deal...

They had a backlog of Guards when they traded Larry Hughes…. I can’t see them taking on two more…unless they’re desperate to dump Heinrich’s salary ($9 Million a year for the next 3 years)…

So make it Etan then

Hinrich’s long-term salary is a major problem … they’re paying 9-10 million for a backup.

But what if Ben Gordon leaves this off-season?

If he leaves, Rose, Hinrich, and maybe Roberson are the only Bulls who are still on the books for next season. Granted, it’s not like James or Stevenson would replace Gordon, but it would give them some depth next year if he leaves.

That's right

I always think of him as a SF, but I guess he’ll move to SG when Deng comes back.

I agree, Hinrich would fit in really well.

He fills a lot of holes by providing us with a solid wing defender and a good 3-point shooter to spread the floor. I’d definitely go after him if we don’t get Rubio/Griffin.
